No, installing RoadActive Suspension (or any other rear suspension helper) does not automatically void the factory warranty. The Magnuson Moss Act states that it is illegal for a vehicle manufactuer or dealership to void a warranty just because a part has been installed. The manufacturer or dealership may only void the warranty if they are able to prove the aftermarket part caused or contributed damage to the vehicle. Even then, warranty to the impacted component(s) is the only portion of the warranty that may be voided. In this case, all other parts of the vehicle remain under warranty.
RAS uses a variable-rate tension coil spring that attaches directly to your rear leaf springs. It works like a muscle, progressively engaging as load or force is applied. This keeps the leaf springs in an upright bowed position to prevent sag, improve stability, and enhance bounce isolation.
Most applications see a 2–3" reduction in rear squat. The exact amount will depend on multiple factors such as vehicle size, load size, load placement, leaf spring condition, and the tension setting of the RAS.

I want lie its was a little unsure about ordering the ras system, but then I got it an installed it. About 30 minutes per side with adding bump stop spacers. Then the test i hook up trailer jeep an I got to say it is far better than I was expecting 2in less sag, more stable front an rear felt more planted to the road. Without the trailer i can say the truck overall ride is better if your on the fence try it you want be disappointed
The kit was very easy to install. If you have access to a lift you don’t even need to remove the wheels. Made towing my 33 foot camper safe and easy. I would definitely recommend RAS over airbags.
I installed the (RAS®) RoadActive Suspension 3611-YHD kit on my 2021 Ford F150 Lariat 4WD truck mainly to provide extra lift and stability while pulling my 32’ bumper pull RV trailer. 2016 Ford F150 with 95,000 miles. Purchased the truck to tow a camper and it was bouncing and being pushed around. Decided to try RAS instead of purchasing new springs and shocks. Made a huge difference and for a lot less money. Easy to install. Tows and rides much better.
I bought the Heavy duty RAS suspension for my 2017 Ford F150 to reduce rear truck sag and improve handling for our 3 week 5500 mile round trip to WY and SD. I was extremely satisfied with increased handling performance while traler was attached through the mountains and 60 mph cross winds. All trailer sag was also eliminated. Noticeable improved handling without trailer also. I would highly recommend this product to others!
After I installed the RAS, I noticed much more stability pulling a 30ft camper, especially going around curves. Felt like the rear end of the truck was much more “planted “. Install was super easy, took about an hour. It did raise the back about 1 inch.
I installed this to reduce suspension squat on my 2023 f150 tremor truck while towing my forest river wildwood fsx 260rt toy hauler camper. It raised my truck 2-3 inches in ba k with no load but definitely reduced suspension squat with the camper in tow. Wish I'd measured the difference. What i didn't expect is it improving the cornering ability of the truck unloaded! It reduced body lean when rounding corners; be aware of this or you may dump.a passengers drink like I did. RAS is a great product!
I’ve got a 2009 F-150 with 145k miles that I purchased new.
We started pulling a travel trailer 4 years ago and replaced most of the most key suspension elements to get a better, and safer tow.
I added a fiberglass camper shell last year which changed the dynamic since I was adding weight to the bed top causing an exaggerated sway.
Fortunately, I reached out to a couple of F-150 forums on FB about this and they universally recommended RAS.
The Ford F-150 (4WD) 2009 - 2014 HD Kit I purchased was easy to install and I can already feel the difference.
We’ll be going on a camping trip tomorrow and I’ll be able to assess the entire install at work.
I bought this to firm up my 2025 F150 Tremor while towing heavy. So far I’m very happy with the product. Only problem and I knew this was going to happen, I put a 2.5” leveling kit on my Tremor but with the RAS, I’m back up 1.5” using the white adjustment spacer. I knew it was going to and I’m still happy with the look.
Another plus, I can be pretty heavy footed in the corners and curves, my truck now has much less roll while cornering. Rear end stays planted similar to using a traction bar.
If you purchase a RAS just know that it will lift the rear 1.5 to 2” depending on which setting you decide to adjust to.
Installed these in about 45 minutes without removing the tires. Just made sure to jack truck up far enough to get jack stands under frame instead of front leaf spring holder. Was an immediate improvement of how the truck handles the roads and curves. Rear end is much stiffer than expected or would like even at the lowest adjustment disk (white) but that’s ok. Bridges and rough roads definitely feel more planted and controlled. I haven’t towed anything but I got these for future jobs since I wanted traction bars anyways. I have been researching numerous suspension options for my 2025 Ford F-150 Platinum Powerboost to safely tow my 2026 Grand Design Imagine 2670K travel trailer and decided that the RAS 3611-YHD kit was the best application. I have a 2024 F150 2wd STX. I also live at the end of an 8 mile long dirt road with curves. I loved everything about the truck except when I did the curves on gravel. It had a tendency to slide but not a controled drift. Instead it would start into a slide and then grip and then start to slide again. It did not good.
I installed the 3611-BHD and was quite suprised at how much it improved the handling. It also holds up my travel trailer very well but even if you don't have a trailer to haul, yo should have this anyway.
Great product. (I mechaniced at 24 Hour Le Mans twice, 24 hrs Daytona 15 times, 2 times at Indy 500 and a lot of other tracks.)
2019 Ford F-150 Lariat 4X4. RAS Kit #3611YHD.
Install went well with only a few problems. Recommend pretreating Bump stop bolts with NUT BUSTER 2-3 DAYS IN ADVANCE. Bolts have blue Loctite on threads. Springs installed with no problem, setting to 40% proved more difficult on driver side.
Performance out on the road was definetly improved. Truck felt more planted to the road & no sway on curves. Have yet to hook up my travel trailer due to weather. After install truck rear raised about 1", so once I hook up my trailer will measure squat.
I installed my 6311YHD on my 2023 F150 Fx4 several weeks ago and used it pulling my Searay boat. I couldn’t even tell it was towing anything. I had just taken it from storage and the tires were low

2023 F-150, much better experience towing the travel trailer. Less bounce, and handling is better. Less squat, levels out the whole package. Did raise rear of truck 3” so had to lower Andersen hitch down to compensate.
2022 F150 Lariat 6.5 ft bed 3.5 V6 Ecoboost. Very easy install and the system performs exceptionally well. Pulling a 10000 GVWR Fifth Wheel with ~ 1400 pin weight. Truck is dead level when pulling. No additional ride harshness when not towing. Highly Recommend!

I purchased the 3611yhd suspension kit for my 2011 ford f150 4wd. It wasn't hard to install and there are plenty of videos and instructions to help with installation. The truck seems to stand a little taller and the suspension feels real tight like new. When hooked to my 2000lb utility trailer there was no drop and you can't even feel the trailer hooked up. Can't wait to load the trailer up and see what has changed. For now I feel like this was an excellent upgrade for my truck. I originally bought it because we are in the process of getting a 31ft travel trailer weighing 6600lbs. Can't wait to try this out. Thank you for inventing this upgrade for those of us looking for safety upgrades for towing.

Length of Coverage
Except as provided below, RoadActive Suspension, Inc. offers the following duration:
1. RoadActive Suspension, Inc. kits and their components are warrantied in the United States and Canada against defects in workmanship and materials for five (5) years following installation on the vehicle for which the kit is purchased.
2. The Warranty is terminated immediately when you transfer ownership of the vehicle to a second party, or it is used for a purpose not intended, regardless of your consent and/or if the product is installed on a second vehicle, regardless of when the second installation takes place. Because of these provisions, the Warranty is not transferable.
Authorized Sellers Only
Warranty coverage applies only to products purchased directly from RoadActive Suspension, Inc. or from an authorized RAS dealer or retailer. Purchases made from unauthorized resellers or third-party sellers (including online marketplaces) may not qualify for warranty coverage.
Obligations
RoadActive Suspension, Inc. shall be limited to replacing or repairing, free of charge, any part or parts that reasonably appear to us upon inspection to have been defective in material and/or workmanship. You will be responsible for the cost of transportation charges and any charges in connection with reinstallation of the defective parts.
Exclusions and Limitations
The limited Warranty does not cover and RoadActive Suspension, Inc. will not be held responsible for any costs or injury you sustain by reason of the following:
1. Parts and labor necessary for removal, reinstallation, vehicle modification, or any vehicle repair, service, or replacement, and repair of defective parts other than RoadActive Suspension, Inc. defective parts, regardless of cause.
2. Any repair or replacement made necessary by any accident, breakdown, or failure of bolts, nuts, washers, or any other parts used to install the products, whether or not by RoadActive Suspension, Inc.
3. Unreasonable use, failure to install or maintain the product properly, modification of the product, or failure attributed to a defect in the vehicle, towing, fire, theft, environmental condition, or negligence, accidental or intentional damage or destruction.
4. Incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to compensation for loss of use of the product or vehicle, inconvenience, lost profit, or any other direct or indirect loss.
Individual Components Policy
For liability and safety reasons, RoadActive Suspension, Inc. does not sell or distribute individual components of any RAS kit separately. Each RoadActive Suspension kit is designed, tested, and warrantied as a complete system. Replacing or modifying any component independently—including threaded rods, brackets, or hardware—may affect system integrity and void all warranty coverage. Replacement components are only available through approved warranty claims or complete kit purchases.
Non-Warranty Replacement Policy
In cases where damage occurs due to installation error, misuse, or other non-warranty causes, replacement components are available only through the purchase of a new complete RoadActive Suspension kit. Individual components are not sold separately for safety and compliance reasons.
Warranty Void Conditions
This warranty will be considered void if any part of the RoadActive Suspension kit is altered, modified, or installed incorrectly, or if the product is used in any way that differs from its intended purpose. Warranty coverage also becomes void if non-RAS components are substituted or used in conjunction with the system in a way that may affect performance or safety.
Third-Party Modifications
RoadActive Suspension, Inc. is not responsible for any issues or failures that result from the use of aftermarket components, vehicle modifications, or non-standard installations. The RAS system is designed to function only with stock vehicle configurations unless otherwise specified in writing by RoadActive Suspension, Inc.
Inspection Recommendation
As the installation and removal are not covered by this Warranty, we recommend that you inspect the installation of the RoadActive Suspension, Inc. kit to ensure that the product was installed safely and presents, beyond any reasonable doubt, no danger to any other part(s) of the vehicle such as brake lines, gas tank and lines, sewer lines, electrical wiring, or the chassis.
How to Obtain Service
To obtain warranty replacement parts or repair, RoadActive Suspension, Inc. must first be contacted by letter or telephone, providing your name, make, model, and year of vehicle, and evidence of date of installation. Written or verbal approval will be given to you by an authorized RoadActive Suspension, Inc. employee, and you must then return the part to be replaced or repaired—at our option—freight paid, to our warehouse. The replacement part will be shipped within fifteen (15) days following our receipt of the original part.
Be sure to obtain our approval before returning products to our warehouse. They will not be accepted until approval is obtained.
